One of the hallmarks of management is the ability to think deeply about a topic or issue and to think through potential implications. Over the next two weeks (and throughout your Doctoral program), you and your colleagues will critically think about topics by exploring, comparing, contrasting, and synthesizing current management topics and issues found in the literature.

You will consider their significance to the practice and their relationship to social change.  An introduction to the Walden Library and how to search the online databases will assist your investigation.

Learning Objectives

You will:

• Analyze relationships between current management topics and social change
• Describe the weaknesses and strengths of the literature related to current management topics and social change

Skills

You will develop the following skill:

• Synthesizes and integrates fairly complex or ambiguous information into what is already known about a topic
