Assignment: Peer-Review Forum: Creating a Video Presentation for a Virtual Lesson

In Week 2, you created the Lesson Plan for your Assignment, “Creating a Video Presentation for a Virtual Lesson.” This week, you share your video presentation with your colleagues. The purpose of this Peer Review Forum is to provide you with the opportunity to share and solicit feedback from your colleagues. By listening to one another’s input, experiences, and constructive criticism, you should be better able to integrate best practices and pedagogies into your video presentations. To share your video presentation with your colleagues, follow the directions below.

By Day 5

• Submit your video to the Assignment Part 1- Week 4 submission link using the Kaltura Media option available via the mashup tool. More information about adding video to the classroom is located on the Kaltura Media Uploader page in the course navigation menu.
• Once your video has successfully uploaded, create a comment (text, audio or video) that provides a brief description of your video presentation and intended audience of learners.
• Post your media to the Virtual Lesson Peer Review Forum.

By Day 7

• Review video presentations uploaded by your colleagues in the Virtual Lesson Peer Review Forum.
• Respond* to at least two of your colleagues using the following approach:
  • Share at least three meaningful edits, insights, and/or probing questions that could help your colleague to enhance his or her presentation skills and overall presentation. Please try first to select videos that have not been critiqued by other colleagues. Your instructor will be monitoring responses to ensure that everyone receives feedback.

*Note: For this activity, you are not required to provide your feedback on two different days. You may provide feedback to two colleagues on the same day.
